The relationships between the United Nations and the European Union
One of the main objectives of ROMUN 2010 is to valorize not only the system of the United Nations, but also the dialogue between this international institution, that has a universal vocation, and the regional international organizations, as we are convinced that this is a close link that cannot be set aside in today’s international panorama.
This is the reason why MSOI is working to guarantee a relevant presence of the Institutions of the European Union during the ROMUN, by adding the role of an EU observer in each Committee, and making use of the scientific and logistic collaboration of the European Institutions present in Rome.

Honorary committee
The high profile of the ROMUN will be guaranteed by the presence of an honorary committee, chaired by Ambassador Umberto La Rocca President of the SIOI, and composed of leading personalities of the diplomatic, academic and institutional world.
